In the past two decades, the international market for electronic music has grown exponentially, with a current market size of € 4,7 billion. Within the international scene, The Netherlands has become renowned for its DJs, often ranking on the top of the charts, and its unique electronic music festivals and events. One of the leading Dutch dance music festivals is WiSH Outdoor, located in the southern part of the Netherlands. In 2015 the festival found its second home in Monterrey, Mexico and in 2016 the first edition of WiSH Outdoor in Florence, Italy took place. The WiSH Outdoor brand has been growing rapidly in the past few years, and our dream is to set up WiSH Outdoor festivals in different corners of the world. It is just a matter of finding the right location and a partner to share this dream with us. The international editions of WiSH Outdoor are conceived based on organic growth. Each international festival is tailored considering local aspects of the hosting country, such as cultural influence, musical trends, food and beverage, climate, and best practices we learn from our local partners.
In 2007 it all began with the first edition of WiSH Outdoor in The Netherlands. In 10 years, it went from a local 1-day festival with 2500 visitors and 1 stage, to a 3-day cross-over Electronic Dance Music festival with over 12 stages, 200+ artists and over 60.000 visitors during the weekend. Well-known for its great atmosphere, majestic stages and extensive decoration, the festival has grown to become one of the Dutch ‘must-visit’ dance festivals over the years. Where traditional music festivals primarily focus on artists, WiSH Outdoor has adopted a full ‘service and surprise’ vision; details matter. It’s not only about great artists and beautiful decoration, service is important too. With this vision, a visit to WiSH Outdoor turns into a magical adventure. A memory to cherish forever. The next step forward. As the festival in the Netherlands kept growing, the organisation behind WiSH Outdoor realised the great potential of the festival. Ultimately this led to the first edition of WiSH Outdoor in Monterrey, Mexico back in 2015 and more recently the first edition of WiSH Outdoor in Florence, Italy. In 2016, WiSH Outdoor counted 60.000 visitors in the Netherlands (10th edition), 30.000 visitors in Mexico (2nd edition) and 10.000 visitors in Italy (1st edition). WiSH Events International is more than ready to start new WiSH Outdoor adventures all over the world.
