Sir Piers is one of the UK’s most respected Producers & Songwriters and a widely recognised DJ throughout the world. The man behind the Curious imprint is known for a string of timeless soulful classics and popular remixes. As Pete Tong said ‘This man’s music transcends genres, yet maintains that soulful edge, which has become his trademark.

iDJ Magazine recently said “ The British DJ Legend Sir Piers set Cafe de la Musique on fire in Florianopolis, Brasil this weekend with his smoking house music set! I have been to this beach fronted heaven several times but never seen a DJ create such an electric atmosphere with an elite Jurere crowd! Sir Piers had them in the palm of his hand, and within only 10 seconds of his first record! A true pleasure to witness the master at work and do so well with a foreign crowd. One of the most talked about moments for Piers’s career has to be being asked to play for Prince Harry’s Royal Birthday at Buckingham Palace (in London). If he’s good enough for English Royalty then I’d say he’s the perfect fire starter for any party!

DJ Sir Piers global appeal has taken him to famous clubs around the world for over a decade. His touring schedule in the U.S, Asia and Europe continues to grow year on year. Next up, Piers is hopping back on a plane for an extensive tour of South America and Australia. He has held residencies and regularly appeared at Pacha Ibiza, Pacha Minorca. Ministry Of Sound, Neighbourhood and The End (Three of Londons hottest Clubs) playing alongside a host of big names including Dennis Ferrer, Norman Jay, Louie Vega etc. These three household names also being some of the key supporters of Piers’s many records over the years. 2010 will see various Pacha parties around Brasil to crowds of 6,000 and upwards.

Sir Piers has given his renowned treatment to a range of leading stars from Roy Ayers, Groove Armada, Todd Terry and A Tribe Called Quest to Jocelyn Brown, Ananda Project, Lauryn Hill and Kings of Tomorrow. It is testament to his reputation and versatility that Piers has also worked on material from Snoop Dogg, Pharrell, Beyonce & Jay-Z, Stevie Wonder, Alicia Keys, Angie Stone, Gwen Stefani, Jill Scott and Lionel Richie. Sir Piers’ most recent remix on ‘Could This Be Love’ by Duce Martinez and Stephanie Cooke (MN2S) hit #2 spot on the Traxsource chart this summer.

Recent releases with Defected, OM Records and Soulfuric has attracted further international demand for his SoulfulTech sound. Originally working alongside the likes of Richard Earnshaw, Mark Horwood and Ed Funk under monikers such as Fusion Groove Orchestra, DirtDiggers and SummerHeadz, it is as a solo artist that Piers has really made his mark on the scene. His collaborations with Monique Bingham on Curious (‘Don’t You Love Me’ and ‘Fool’s Got Nothin’) and Shaun Escoffery, went on to achieve worldwide success, while other memorable releases on Sony, Jive, Soulfuric, MN2S and King Street have also received widespread success. Continued Radio & Club Play has come from the likes of Pete Tong , Seb Fontaine, MAW, Danny Rampling, Tony Humphries, Roger Sanchez, Aaron Ross, Terry Hunter, Bob Sinclar, Miguel Migs and Martin Solvieg etc etc.

As well as maintaining the output on Curious and working alongside Toni Economides as Tarantulaz , Sir Piers has most recently been concentrating on his debut artist album. ‘Sirvival’ This truly is a career defining piece of work which highlights his talent as a Producer, musician and song-writer. Featuring co-writes with Level 42 and Kenny Thomas as well as collaborations with Frank McComb, Monique Bingham, Shaun Escoffery, Robert Owens and Los Amigos Invisibles, ‘Sirvival’ is currently gaining major radio support across the BBC network and other key stations in the UK. Upon its release, the ‘Sirvival’ LP is scheduled to be accompanied by heavyweight remixes from the likes of Stonebridge, Aaron Ross, Tarantulaz and many others hot producer names from across the genres.

With the hype in full swing on ‘Sirvival’ and a number of high profile releases in the pipeline for Tarantulaz as well as a global DJ schedule and his remix work gaining maximum attention and topping the download charts, Sir Piers is most definitely on fire right now!!
