DJ Chen’s & Axel B.’s affection for music doesn´t exist for only a short time. Despite going different ways, they have found to each other with the true House‐Sound and are rocking the clubs together from that time on.
Chen, who always had a passion for electronic music, could already gain some experience at the turntables in his younger days, and developed to one of the best known DJs from southern Germany. He played side to side with DJ‐Stars like Axwell, Felix da Housecat, Milk & Sugar and even the upcoming House‐Act Syke´n´Sugarstarr mentioned his enormous abilities at the mixer.
Saxophonist Axel B., who also produced remixes for Bob Sinclar (Yellow Productions) or Milk & Sugar Recordings, started to learn classical piano and saxophone infantile. By now he played concerts in countries all over the world like China, Brazil, South‐Korea, USA and much more.
In a close teamwork, DJ Chen and Axel B. formed a unique sound, combining the two main elements house‐music and live sax. Since 2006 there followed countless gigs in the hottest clubs and in‐locations worldwide, and so far COSMIC FUNK is much more than just an insider tip.
Their first Remix for Levan’s “Keep Me Sweet” on Diamondhouse Records was released in January and is now played by many renowned DJs all over the world.
